It was the first time I'd seen Brandon's digs.  A bunch of bands from Oakland came in.  Unfortunately, they didn't arrive on the NOISEBUS as we had expected. (Noise Bus is an enormous custom-crafted double-decker bus that wreaks of noise and havoc).  Even without their Mad Max noise bus, the Oakland kids still brought a lot of weight and whimsy.
